well i am finally writing! what happened was that my zone wanted to go to a museum, but it wasn't open, so we got permission from president to go today. so almost the entire day we were in Lambayeque at a really famous museum here in chiclayo. it was pretty cool. it was all about the moche culture which was interesting to learn more about the peruvian culture. we went in and watched a short little video, then we got to go through 3 levels of pure artifacts and skeletons that they have found here in Peru. we couldn't take pictures :/ but i took pictures on the outside. its a pretty cool building! it was a cool experience, when we come back, I'm totally taking you guys there! so ya....this past week....last Monday there was an earthquake here in ferreƱafe, it wasn't too big, but we totally felt it. i did a exchange with Elder C from Lima, he is a pretty cool guy, i sent a pic of us below. twe did weekly planning, then in the afternoon we went to the offices for interviews with president williams. on the way to the office, the taxi driver was talking on his phone and got pulled over by a cop...in my 18 months here in Peru, that was the first time that i have seen the police take action on something...the interviews were good, i LOVE my mission president, every time i have interviews with him i always leave feeling so good. when he asked me to say the closing prayer, when i said "amen" he had tears in his eyes and told me how much my Spanish has improved since i first got here, so that was a huge confidence builder! we had zone conference and it was okay, but to be honest i have had better ones. my foot was starting to bother me again, so we rested a little. we went to church which was good, it was testimony meeting which was fun to hear the testimonies of the members here. then yesterday i did another exchange with Elder D from bolivia. we found a poor dog in the street who was pretty much dead. his bones were showing and he had a HUGE hole in his ear, and there were maggots inside the hole eating his ear.so we bought him some bread.  a member came out with us, and he is a physical therapist, so i spent the whole afternoon asking him questions, i think i focused on that more than missionary work...but ya that has been my week for you guys..I love you guys! talk to you guys next week!
