OH MY GOSH....I AM SSSSOOOO EXCITED FOR THE CRUISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am so ready to relax and just spend time with you guys!

so my week went something like this, last pday we saw a trailer for a new starwars movie! (ill be home to see it in theaters!) That night we had a family night with the branch presidents family. we talked about missionary work. and i had some of the daughters do practises. i pretended like i was one of their little girlyfriends and they had to testify to me and help me understand. it was supper funny, but at the same time, super spiritual! (pic below) 

Tue. we were contacting and i saw a stray cow, so i called it over like a dog..ha. but i got to pet it! so that was cool. 

Wed. i gave my class, i hid Easter eggs that the elders had to find. i tied it in with every area had hidden eggs (people) that we need to find. i also gave a process of how to "open the egg" that was a great class! later we came back and to our room to find that a spider had hatched its eggs....ON OUR BEDS! so there were hundreds of little spiders on our beds.. so not cool! so we went and got spray and downed the room, so i think i got most of them. 

Thu. i got to give another baptism interview which was cool, with guidance from the spirit, i am the person who decides if they are ready to start their journey to the celestial kingdom...crazy. 

Fri. the branch president invited us to lunch, we ate chicken that didn't look or taste like chicken, but it was amazing! (pic below) we had a great lesson with alex and luz...(inv.) and alex said he wants to be baptized! but his wife still doesn't feel that way. but we are going to hit them hard! 

Sat. the daughters of president were putting ropes around my legs trying to trip me, by the end they threw me down...hard..ha. 

Sun. lambayeque is a district not a stake so we had district conference which was great! so i think that's been my whole week.......i love you guys! and I'm excited to cruise with you guys!

Elder Moore

glad to hear that you are doing better. no he is going home a week after i go home so he can trane the new president. we cant take motos anymore cause lately they have been robbing missionaries. my comp and i are great. I love my new ties! I'm saving one of them for when i go home. So not a lot happened this week. Tue. we helped the husband of the pensions daughter by the pool again. he got on a ladder and he had me be the base. so i was the only thing keeping him from falling. and he is kinda a chubby dude...so my arms were burning!  that afternoon we passed by a convert to do service, but her brother wasn't there so we couldn't help her, i feel bad cause she is missing half of her roof, and nobody is there to help her...Wed. i gave my class, and i got a special visitor...the mission president! so that kinda flipped my out. but it still went amazing. that night we taught a couple about the word of wisdom, and we have been teaching them for a while, and they had to choose that night to invite us to coffee..ha instead they gave us bread and anìs. Thu. the branch president invited us to squid and octopus, which was flippin amazing! those two things together are just awesome! Sat. we passed by a inv. and he told us that his mom told him to tell us not to come back...so its like really lady, you cant just tell us yourself...Sun. we got a couple at church that we have been trying to get to come for a long time! and they really enjoyed it. that night i talked to the branch president and his family, and can i just say that i flippin love them! they are so cool, I'm gonna miss them when i leave....but ya thats pretty much been my week. i love you guys! and i hope you guys have a great week! its been a hectic week so i didn't have time to take photos :( love you guys!

Elder Moore

my package was great! 

So to start off, last pday sucked! we went down to lambayeque to do a lot o things that needed power, and when we got there...there was no power. so we spent all pday down waiting for power to come back on. that night the branch president and his wife, and the second councilor and his wife came to celebrate my late birthday. they made me a cake and in the end thy cracked eggs on my head. (pic below) Tue. we got a new location for the church building so we went over to see and i found a member from one of my old areas, so i talked to him for a min. that night the daughters of the branch president didn't get to break eggs on my head, so they did it again, (pic below) so that was fun. Wed. we did service for the husband of the pensions daughter. we helped him pull weeds by a pool. that night we had a great lesson with a couple who are living together..and are not married. so we watched "together forever" and it was just a great lesson. Thu we passed by a new guy we found, so we passed by, and instead of finding him, we found 2 very disrespectful Jehovah's witnesses. then my comps lock on his suitcase changed passwords on its own. so we took it over to presidents and we spent like 20 min trying to pick it. in the end we just ended up cutting it. Fri we had zone conference which was great. after i did a exchange with Elder bravo from Lima, we went out with president, he took us to a ancient inv. and by the end of the great lesson, she accepted baptism! Sat we did more service by the pool, then we ended the exchange. now we cant take moto taxis, so we had to walk forever! Sun. one of presidents dogs almost killed a duck, so i saved its life. and while i was bringing it back to its owner...that little thing pooped on me! . then i found out that i will most likely finish my mission here in Morrope. so that's been my week, i hope you guys have a great week! and i hope mom gets better soon! Elder Moore

ya it  was okay, no but we are going to celebrate it tonight. the pension is irma (her name) i am so excited to go to the Peruvian place when i get home!

well lets see, last pday we went to a little museum with the zone leaders. it was kinda cool. this one let me take pics...so pics below. Tue. we just pretty much contacted the whole day, and i had one of the nicest rejections ever.

Wed. i gave my class. after i did a exchange with Elder Rojas my comp. so it was good to work with him again. we did service for 2 hours helping a convert. then the office had a mission for me. i had to go to print off a contract for the building we are renting for the church. then i had to fill our the contract with the owner of the building. then we spent 30 min looking for a flippin scanner. finally i got it scanned and sent to the office. after all the appointments failed so we just taught the branch presidents family. its funny exchanges are to see how others are working...while we hardly worked. Thu. i had interviews with President Williams. i know i have already said this before..but i am so glad he is my mission president!Sat. conference was amazing! President Nelson's explanation on the atonement opened my eyes to a whole new meaning of the atonement of jesus chirst! then a member brought me some American hamburgers for my b day. Sun i watched the morning session in Spanish, so i can say i saw it in Spanish. then i had lunch with the zone leaders and another companionship. then i watched the last session of general conference that i will ever watch in my mission . so that's been my week. I love you guys!!
