Elder Hidalgo had his farewell family night which went good, we also sang happy birthday to him, cause his birthday was Thursday...which kinda sucks. Then i got my new comp Elder Alor again from PerΓΊ he is a pretty cool guy,  haha on Tuesday he fell asleep during a lesson.... then we contacted some JWs  which was insane they flippin attacked us (verbally of course) then my comp and i made some french toast so the Peruvians could have a little taste of the good ol states. i also bought some 7 up pop but flavor of lemonade which was super gross!! as far as investigators go its kinda slow, we got one named jesenia who is pretty sweet, she just had fear that if she gets baptized she cant repent anymore... I also found a member from one of my old areas which was pretty sweet (pic below) so that has mainly been my week.

Not much really happened this week. Some members bought us KFC which made like my entire week. So on Tuesday we were in a lesson with 2 young girls and in their house they teach dance so i made the guy go and dance...pretty funny. also i found some cats the size of my finger along the road crying cause they didn't want to die...kinda sad so we put them in a coat so they could be warm. I did a work exchange with another elder and it was just a party.  we got trunky listening to Christmas music and eating American candy..We had a movie night with some girls that are investigators they are total homies. one is 16 and the other is 18 (juanita and Nicole) and we watched the Testaments. then we all took one big selfie. Then i got news that my comp has changes and my new comp is named Elder Alor another Latino, so that should be fun. So that's been my week. Have a great week! Love you! and talk to ya next week!

A street Elder Moore walks down each day.

The street on the other side of his apartment.

This is the building where they live.
I think the mission president and his wife liked the surprise we sent.

A surprise picture one night of Elder Moore and his new companion making french toast.

the main highlights of my week are that i did a work exchange with a Elder Sanchez from Trujillo pretty sweet dude, Their pension is da bomb! she made us lasagna with DR PEPPER!!!!! and for breakfast she made us PANCAKES with PEANUT BUTTER and MAPLE SYRUP!!! it was one of the best things ever! i know your probably thinking wow...i can get that any day here in the states. But when you are here, that hardly exists. so that was awesome! first time in 14 months that i have had DR PEPPER. there is this crazy guy who is always drugged who stole some kids soccer ball and threw it on a roof.....what a jerk. as far as investigators go, we have a couple but they are not progressing after the baptisms we have hit a major dry spot. Have a great week! Talk to ya next week  Love you!

well one more week down. last pday we literally played bball all day... on tuesday for like 45 min. my pensions sister's husband was playing taylor swift, so i heard everything from blank space, shake it off, etc, so that was kinda super trunky. i was in a lesson with this weird lady who after, gave me this weird green mushy drink and said that "it would clean my blood" so that was interesting. oh and the branch had a activity and after they had cake that was in describable.....sooooo goood!! and i kinda ate 3 pieces...πŸ™‡   the baptisms we have hit a dry spot with our investigators but for the most part that had been the highlights of my week. Have a great week! Love you!!

so the main highlights from my week were on tuesday we had a mulit zone and my mission president talked about the second coming which blew my mind...i dont think we have any idea how close this event really is!! on tuesday i also hit day 400 πŸ˜« also my mission president came and taught with us for one lesson which was great! he is a awesome guy! but the main highlight from this week was that saturday i had 2 more baptisms! so great! their names are ana and luis. when luis bore his testimony he kinda went off on his whole lifes story...haha. but great none the less. below you can see a pic of the baptism, (dont mind me rockin the shades πŸ˜ŽπŸ˜‚) we also spent like 10 min picking off ticks from a dog, that dog had SOO many ticks!! so i think thats been a summary of my week. Love you!!

so saturday i had a baptism!! The baptism was sooo stressful! nobody showed up (maybe like 4 or 5) and my mission president showed up, so that flipped me out a bit. the dude that baptized her didnt' know how to baptize so he baptized her like 12 times until he finally slammed her under the water. but overall it was pretty good. i also had a training on how to become district leader and my old comp trained me which was cool. My comp and i killed a big lizard with a broom throwing it like a spear..haha  and i bought some pretty sweet souviners by the beach. so basically thats been my entire week. super stressful, but we got a baptism!! Have a great week. Love you!

Elder Moore is now a district leader!

so last monday i was getting into a taxi and the driver took off when i was half way into the car!  i also had a chance to de-feather a couple ducks, then later gut them...super gross but also super sweet. we found a new investigator and she went off for like 10 min on how her house is possesed with demons, so that was kinda creepy. the same lady that we helped de-feather the ducks later invited us to eat with her and her family (they are members) there is also a photo below. on friday i did a work exchange with another elder from provo, and almost every person we talked to invited us to some kind of food...we ate soooo much i thought i was going to explode! the baptism for the 6th is still good! so we will have a baptism this saturday i got notified that i am the new district leader so im pretty pumped for that! I love you! and talk to ya next week. Love ya!
