Busy Week in Jaen
This week has been another pretty good week. I did another interchange but this time i was with Elder Tonga which was fun (i forgot my camera) But him and i got to teach a lesson in english! there was a guy who lived in L.A. for 10 years so we taught him the restaruacion is english..so sweet! but that made me realize that i cant teach in english anymore..haha. Later in the week we have a part member family the 2 sons are members, but the parents are not. So we watched The Restauracion with the brothers and the mom, and the mom started to tear up durring some parts which was way cool, hopefully we can work good with her! And after they gave us some bread and cheese sandwhiches with anÃs (like a herbal tea).
On friday before we did weekly planing. i bought a water for 1.50 and i paid with a 10. so i should get 8.50 back right? well we have a crazy neighboor who is literally crazy. And somehow he thought that 8.50 was 6.50 so i fought with him (nicely of course) until he finally realized.haha. That same day we were eating lunch and we found a GIANT rat in our penions house, so i picked up a wooden stick and killed it (pic below) so that made lunch rather interesting. also that same day, i did another interchange but with a latino named Elder Aguliar. which went actually pretty good, but for dinner his penion isnt that good, so all she gave us is cake...thats right our whole dinner was cake....wow. Saturday morning we woke up and there was a riot going on something about water and the electricity, but it was kinda scary the police had some heavy firepower (Ak-47, granade launchers, etc.) and they had riot sheilds too...scary. And saturday afternoon we helped with a service project and sanded walls of a house for a member.
Then we had a awesome lesson with Miguel! We watched Together Forever and they accepted to get married the 6th of may and baptized the 7th ! we were soo excited. Then we talked with a laywer who is in our ward and he said they have to wait 15 days until they can get married
so they wont get baptized this weekend :/ and changes are the 10th of May so most likeley one of us wont be here to see them get baptized which is sad, but its awesome they are still goin to get baptized! And to finish off the week saturday night we were heading back to plan, and there were people right outside our room, blasting music and getting hammered drunk. And my comp cant really sleep that well when theres noise. So he started having a panic attack cause he was afraid that he wasnt going to get any sleep, so we went and slept over at the room of the zone leaders. So that was my week, I love you guys!!! and talk to you guys sunday!!!!!!!!

Adventures in Jaen
so i had a pretty eventful week! there is a new italian place that is pretty close...SO GOOD! we have gone there 2 pdays in a row (forgot pics :/ ) but its amazing! and on tuesday...sooo hot! it got over 120 degrees with humidity! so that was kinda torchure. Thursday i got to spend 24 hours with Elder Headrick from my group, we were doing a work exchange and it was awesome! he's such a great guy, and we kicked butt as far as lesson wise. while with him we were contacting talking to people and we found a guy with 6 fingers! so crazy so we taught him a little lesson. and our recent convert gave us some super good popcorn. that night our neighbor has a coconut tree right outside of our house. So we got to climb up the tree and get our own coconuts and cut them open and drink and eat them!! so good! (pic at bottom of us) During that work exchange we visited Miguel and he is doing awesome!! we finally got his wife in on the lessons and she is more interested than he is! she is pumped for marraige and she wants to progress...its been such a blessing! After Miguel gave us this drinkable fudge with cream and colored chocolate balls on top...amazing! Saturday we passed by a investigator and his TV was on and i saw the trailer for the new captain america...i cried a little...it looked soooo good!! i have to wait till i get home...NNNOOOOOOO!!!! then on sunday we passed by miguel again to help him in his shop and after he gave us this drink that was natural yogurt with chocolate pudding. But it ended up tasting like cheese...
i don'
t know how. it was kinda good tho. and he showed us this video LOOK IT UP!!! its called
"Condor Pasa 100 años de Magia" type it in like that and its like a 4 min video and it shows beautiful places...all in Perú! So that was my week i Love you guys!!! and talk to you guys next week!!!

What has happened this week...Miguel is doing great! we finally got a lesson with him and his wife, and they came to church last sunday!! they are getting married in June and will be baptized soon after. Seeds into Chocolate
This was actually a boring week, we did a little service project for a recent convert, we built a brick wall for them. we went to ward council and nobody showed up...again! our ward is not very good at all is really frustrating! We watched a video clip about the tabernacle in provo that burnt down and the process of rebuilding it back into a temple. At the end they showed a few photos of the inside...beautiful!! I am going there ASAP when i get home! We also had Zone meeting so it was fun to get to know the zone a little bit better. Our investigator M accepted to get married to his wife! they are starting their papers and my comp and i are buying them the cake..haha. He also took us back into his shop and taught us some more on how the seeds they get from the plants, turns into chocolate. its quite interesting. Thats about it for the week, I looked all around for a scarf but i couldn't find one, i got dads ties ready, but the zone leaders are going up to a cool place so im going to have them look for something up there. so ill send it next week. I love you guys!!!!

Overlooking Jaen
So Monday night we went over and taught our investigator who works in coffee. we felt inspired to teach the word of wisdom and he said that he dosent like to drink coffee anymore!! that was a blessing, it just reminds me how powerful God is! he committed to live the word of wisdom!! that is the motivation that we needed! then that night we went to his store and he gave us this cold hot chocolate thing which was amazing! (picture below) we also found out that there are NO changes so i will be with Elder Wallace another change which we are excited we will spend my b-day and mothers day together this change!
my comp has a intolerance to lactose so he by accident drank the chocolate drink that had lactose so that made him super sick. we stayed in the room all day which was kinda boring but i would rather have him be healthy then not work efficiently. So do you guys remember those puppies that we were taking care of... they got a super bad illness and 2 of them died :( which was super sad and today for pday we hiked up this huge hill to these radio towers and took pictures looking over Jaen (pics below) and that was my week. I love you guys and talk to you guys next week!
